Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and continuously improve cost accounting and management accounting processes

  • Analyze, monitor, and maintain cost centers and cost objects

  • Prepare budget-to-actual comparisons, variance analyses, and management reports

  • Manage internal projects, particularly self-constructed fixed assets

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)

  • Maintain, evaluate, and administer fixed asset records

  • Calculate and post depreciation entries and conduct fixed asset inventories

  • Reconcile asset accounts and prepare fixed asset reports and schedules

  • Perform fixed asset consolidations, including reconciliation and elimination of intercompany asset transactions

  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

  • Collaborate closely with other departments, particularly Accounting and Controlling

  • Participate in finance and accounting projects

 

Qualifications

  • Completed business administration, accounting, or related commercial training, with several years of experience in cost accounting

  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, preferably SAP S/4HANA and LucaNet

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and independent work style

  • High attention to detail and affinity for working with numbers

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
