Electronics technicians for industrial engineering are specialists who deal with the installation, monitoring, maintenance and repair of electrical systems within companies and other industrial facilities.
The following training content is taught during the three-and-a-half-year dual training program:
- Installation and commissioning of electrical systems
- Maintenance and repair of electrical systems
- Programming, configuration and testing of systems and safety equipment
- Wiring and installation of cables and connections
- Carrying out measurements and tests in accordance with relevant regulations
Vocational school: Ludwig-Geissler-Schule in Hanau
Requirements: A secondary school leaving certificate is required for the apprenticeship. Important skills and interests for this occupation include mathematical skills, technical understanding, manual dexterity, physical fitness as well as diligence and accuracy.
Further training opportunities: After the apprenticeship, there are numerous opportunities for further training, for example technician, master craftsman or industrial foreman.
Employment: Further cooperation will already be established during the apprenticeship. If you perform well, there is the possibility of being taken on after the apprenticeship.
