With state-of-the-art injection molding technology, sfm medical devices GmbH continues to strengthen its capabilities as a partner for medical plastic components.
In June, sfm commissioned a new injection molding machine from Arburg, including automated part removal and handling systems. The equipment was strategically installed in the cleanroom and expanded existing capacity for the precision manufacturing of medical plastic components.
In the future, the new system will be used to produce, among other things, components for dermatological biopsy applications as well as parts of the nextaro® product family - both requiring the highest standards of quality, reproducibility, and process stability.
