Under blue skies and near-record summer temperatures, around 160 employees of sfm medical devices came together for this year’s Summer Celebration at Stahlwerk / District 44 in Gründau. Guided by the theme “Beach, Beats & BBQ,” the event focused on what matters most: bringing people together.

We were especially pleased to welcome many colleagues from our subsidiary safemed in Prague. The celebration provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships, build new connections, and foster collaboration across locations and borders.

In an internationally operating company, personal interactions remain an important part of a strong corporate culture. Away from the day-to-day business routine, employees enjoyed meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and the opportunity to connect on a personal level.

A spontaneous ice cream truck was a particularly welcome surprise, providing refreshment as temperatures approached 100°F (38°C). Combined with great food, cold drinks, and relaxed music, it created the perfect atmosphere for an enjoyable afternoon and evening.

The Summer Celebration 2026 once again highlighted what defines sfm medical: dedicated people, a culture of appreciation, and a strong spirit of teamwork and collaboration.
